Using PerfectForm with an Expired License
If you are getting a message that your version of PerfectForm is obsolete and you have an expired license that you do not wish to renew:
- exit PerfectForm (if it is still running)
- if you are running Windows 2000/NT, XP, Vista or Windows 7 and you have an expired license that you do not wish to renew, you should still be able to update through PerfectForm. If not, click:
- if given an option, choose the option to run or open the file, which will start a self-extractor
- make sure that the folder to unzip to is the correct one (you can check by right-clicking on the PerfectForm icon on your desktop, left-click Properties, click the Shortcut tab, and the folder listed as the "Start in" folder is the correct one to unzip to)
- click the unzip option
- click OK and then Close
- Finally, re-start PerfectForm.
If you are only given the option to save the file after clicking download, then save it to your computer, find the file (the name will begin with "update") double-click it and follow the directions above.
If you are a current PerfectForm subscriber, you should update your forms from within PerfectForm. Instructions on how to update are found here.
If you need to update from a CD, contact us and we will send you one.
